She is one of nearly 1,583 people who have been charged and most convicted.

Pamela Hemphill, who pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 60 days in prison, told the BBC that there should be no pardons for the riot on 6 January 2021.
“Accepting a pardon would only insult the Capitol police officers, rule of law and, of course, our nation,” she said.
“I pleaded guilty because I was guilty, and accepting a pardon also would serve to contribute to their gaslighting and false narrative.”
So, 1 of 1583 (0.06%) is seeking justice, righteousness, repentance.
What does this say about our society?
After this year’s 2024 Presidential Election, I decided to swear off news. “All media is corrupt and just feeds off “creating news”.” Trump because of what he says, gets more than his fair share of attention. And all of the media makes money off of him. So, no more, I’m swearing off news.”
And, he doesn’t actually DO much, So as long as he’s not DOING something that hurts some or all of us, “I’m good”.
The President’s primary job is to “preserve, protect and defend the United States”.
Keep us safe!
One of Trump’s first acts is to pardon the January 6th insurrectionists.
Huh?
I can’t stand silent.
So, one is doing the right thing?
Wait, another has steeped forward, too.
What about the rest of these people?
Trump pardoned almost all of the nearly 1,600 rioters who had been been convicted or arrested so far – including those who violently assaulted police officers, smashed windows or tore through congressional offices.
- 1,583 defendants have been charged with crimes associated with the riot.
- 600 have been charged with assaulting, resisting or obstructing law enforcement
- 300 rioters had links to 46 far-right groups or movements dedicated to the overthrow of the United States.
- 175 charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer.
- 69 who admitted to assaulting police with a dangerous or deadly weapon.
I don’t know about you, but I feel so much safer, already. Great job!
Oh but, there’s more:
Those whose sentences were only commuted and immediately released from prison are:
These people are being released for time served, but their convictions stay on their legal record. Those above, their criminal history is wiped clean legally.

- Jeremy Bertino: a former Proud Boys member who pleaded guilty to seditious conspiracy and cooperated with investigators

And, of course, all these righteous people, have something to say!
What is it?

Jacob Chansley aka “QAnon Shaman”: shown at the Speaker’s Desk in the U.S. Capital Chamber: “I JUST GOT THE NEWS FROM MY LAWYER…I GOT A PARDON BABY! THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!!!”
“NOW I AM GONNA BUY SOME MOTHA FUCKIN GUNS!!!
I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!”
Enrique Tarrio, the former Proud Boys leader, told Alex Jones on his show “Infowars” that the measure of success to him “is going to be retribution,”
Stuart Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers, convicted of seditious conspiracy: “I didn’t go into the Capitol. I didn’t tell anybody else to go inside. We’re here to do security for two permitted events on Capitol grounds,” Rhodes said. “I regret that my guys went in. They blundered in along with everybody else. It doesn’t make them criminals. It just makes me kind of stupid.”
In the days after the Capitol attack, Rhodes said that “My only regret is they should have brought rifles,” and that he would “hang fucking Pelosi from the lamppost.”

Andrew Taake, assaulted law enforcement officers with bear spray and a metal whip.

Christopher Quaglin screamed at, pushed, punched, swatted, and slapped, pushed bike racks into, and choked one officer to the ground,”

David Dempsey, “was one of the most violent rioters,” “Clinton,” “Obama,” Jerry Nadler and Nancy Pelosi, should be hanged! he said standing in front of the gallows.
On the PatriotsWin website this week at least two dozen people expressed hopes for executions of Democrats, judges or law enforcement linked to the January 6 cases. They called for jurists or police to be hanged, “pummelled to death”, “ground up in wood chippers” or “thrown from helicopters”.
It’s only 3 days/1461. And oh, I feel so much safer in our nation already. How about you?
