Why “SeePhas”?
My name, Peter, comes from Cephas—the Aramaic word for “rock.”
So SeePhas is a play on words: a place to see rocks. In Scripture, rocks often mark places where people stopped to notice what God was doing—stones of memory, altars, markers of shalom breaking into ordinary life.
I’m Peter Brandt — a learner, grandfather, seminary traveler, and person becoming real through the rocks and waters of life. I spent decades in business and consulting before this journey; these days I care more about what makes people and communities whole – in the shalom sense, than about optimizing systems.
SeePhas moves through five journeys — Healing, Hoping, Flourishing, Belonging, and Seeing — each one a different angle on wholeness. Each Rock of Life takes something happening in the world and weighs it against that vision.
This isn’t wisdom from having arrived. It’s wisdom in motion — gathered, tested, and shared because the journey is worth sharing, and maybe worth walking together.
